Skullcap is a hypnotic nervine. Used regularly, it acts as a neurotrophorestorative, restoring balance to a system that has been chronically overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, a lack of sleep, excessive drug or alcohol consumption and general burnout.
Used acutely, in the moment, it can usher the nervous system from a sympathetic to a parasympathetic state. This helps to balance high blood pressure, hypertension and excessive adrenaline production. Down the line, that also means better digestion & assimilation.
